Peringatan untuk aku yang selalu lupa

What is the hope of the rakyat?

What is the hope of the Malaysian rakyat and what they really vote for? Well, let see at the result;-

1. BN is no longer commanding the 2/3 majority in the Parliment.

2. 5 states, Kelantan, Selangor, Perak, Kedah and Penang is now being govern by a new governmnet with 3 MBs from PAS, 1 from DAP and 1 from PKR, meaning that BN has lost its grip in another 4 states.

Well, I am not a mind reader, but from the results, majority of the rakyat may be desperate for changes, and they want to have a better life, a better governmnet and they willing to take the risk to try out a new government. So if the rakyat want to see a changes in the government, what will be the rakyat hope?

Definitely the rakyat hope that the new government will have a better and improved quality;-

1. Less coruption,
2. An honest and transparent government,
3. A government who cares about the people and fight for the people,
4. A government with high integrity, full of trustworthiness and all the positive characters,
5. A government who can ensure peace and harmony in the country,

So, how do we create a government with all those positive and noble qualities? I think the answer lies with the people in the government... I don't think a corupt officer can work effectively in a clean government and can promote a clean and transparent administration.. Well, I really hope that we have make the right choices and, we will have those YBs who are blessed with all the good qualities. I believe if we have the right YBs, with the right qualities, honest, trustworthy, humble and kind hearted, we will have a great government..

We can see also that the rakyat wanted to have a check and balance in the government, and by denying the 2/3 majority rakyat hope that the Parliment will be more productive and more transparent. The Rakyat want to know the real story of the story, not the "real" story as reported in the mainstream media. The rakyat also hope that with the balance of power, more people will take the rakyat seriously and pay more attention and listen to the problems of the rakyat.

Well, I cannot guarantee that this is the hope of all Malaysian, but at least it is my hope......

How to solve the economic problem?

Well, I guess, there will be more interesting development in the Malaysian politics as the days goes by... The new Cabinet indeed have received a mix reviews from all walks of life in Malaysia. But before we forget, the real issue for the people on the street is not about who will get to have all the perks of being the Menteri and Timbalan Menteri, but more on how we can solve the economics problem? How we can ensure that the man on the street has something to eat and have a better life...

So how we are going to address the economic problems? Maybe we can start by highlighting some of the basic economic problems.... Since the PAS manifesto to create a Welfare Government, maybe we can suggest how this can be done.... Since I am not an economic graduate, but rather an engineering graduate, I may not be able to understand fully of the economic theory, but in Engineering, we really like problems, it is our bread and butter. One of the goal of any engineering discipline is to identify the problems, understand the problems so we can offer the solutions...

Engineering is the science of simplifying things to the benefit the world. Look at the car that we drive, be it Mercedes, BMW, Proton, Perodoa, Alado or whatever its brand... Try to have a peek at the engine and you can see how comprehensively complicated the engine can be... There are many components and many designs.. But what really interesting is that, the engineers have really make in simple that by steeping on the acceleration pedal, the car will move.... People always forget how difficult to design a car, since it is very easy to drive one.

So coming back to the economy, let identify the basics...

1. In today world, money have become the necessary tools for living. Maybe there still exist barter trading, but it is not widely practice anymore. We need money to buy our clothes, to buy food, to buy almost everything, but what is money? Money is suppose to be a tool to facilitate the barter trading, a piece of papers with a certain value, which has nowadays becoming a commodity by itself..... To earn money, basically you need to work, or to sell something, or to offer something that is equivalent to the value of money...

Well it sound rather a simple process... To earn money, you need to produce something that is equivalent to the value of money... Well, I guess, this is not simple stuff, and I am definitely may not be able to discuss the solutions in one articles..... But in the mean time, I am open to suggestions...... Maybe we can really solve the economic problems and grab some noble prize along the way.....

BTW, MAN U open a three point gaps on top of Barclays Premeire League... thanks to the two goal from the magnificient Ronaldo... He already scores 33 goal in all competitions and have already beaten the 40 year old record of George Best......

The World and Me,

The rain drops falling from the sky absorbing in my skin,
As I walk down slowly, in the chill and cozy lane,,
Some people in the busy street have so much to eat,
Somewhere else on the planet, there is nothing to feed,

The world have changed so much since the time I was born,
Paces of life have stepped up and left the slow behind,
The democrats and the birocrats has rule the economic world,
Homeless guys in the busy street looking for a pot of gold,

Chorus:
I see what my eyes can see,
Seeing things goes around and comes around,
The world is full of mysteries,
Pyramids stood all over the world,

The dolphins swim besides the majestic whales,
Hungry tiger hunting down the weakest deer,
And I am still standing here,
Letting the time pass me by,

Chorus 2:
The world has become a dumping ground,
Global warming threatening human kind,
Pollution is problem all over the world,
How can we enjoy the world and live a better day?

As I look up into the sky,
I pray to god for a peaceful life,
May the children have a better day,
May the world be a better place to stay,

The wind of change breezing gently,
Passing through this peaceful land,
And I pray to god may the world fill with laughter and joy,

The wind of change breezing gently,
Passing through this peaceful land,
And I pray to god may the world be a better place to stay
