Peringatan untuk aku yang selalu lupa

The price of crude oil dipping below USD90

Who would have imagine 2 months ago that the price of oil could dip below the USD90 mark? Nonetheless, the price of the black gold still remian volatile and swinging in both directions unpredictably. Maybe there is the fundamental truth taht the oil prices have been driven largely on speculations and non-fundamentals factors. It seems that the supply-and-demand for oil is much in the balance and the much being discussed peak oil maybe just a little further away, perhaps by 3 - 5 years, or maybe it is a theory that may be wrongly intepreted.
The development of the oil price should gives more hope for the people since there is a sense of stability in the economics and people are not panicking towards a doomsday scenario. It is good also to see the price of crude being traded at the lower level, hence stabilizing the overall pricing structures of goods. Perhaps the development in the crude oil prices is one of the more positive scenario, since the political and business condition in this country are still very much in a very misty state. It is very hard to see any clear direction and with the swapping of the ministrial portfolios between the PM and DPM, we certainly being posed with questions, questions and more questions. Is there going to be a big changes in the economic policy? or Malaysia will just continue with the current policy?
Is there still the feel good factor in Malaysia, or we are just waiting for a change in the political and economic wheather? The postponement of UMNO election also didn't do any help since instead of giving a clear direction, it has turn into a question mark? Well, at least I am puzzled. I may not be an UMNO member, but the President of UMNO and the Deputy President of UMNO is both the PM and DPM respectively and thus the UMNO election would definitely have an impact for Malaysians.
So what next for Malaysia? What will be the next headliners. I have run across some of the blogger who has posted saucy stories during the Hari Raya holidays. Anyway, I guess I am still in a festive mood, and I think I might just enjoy those kuih-muih Hari Raya.....
